Dominus Gladiatus Demo, Full Game and Controller Status

Identify the official Steam game and demo, compare their stated scope, and check controller support without assuming saves or console parity.

Which Steam version are you looking at?

Use App 3572090 for the main game and App 4741520 for the demo. Both official app-metadata responses link that pair, with Brain Seal Ltd as developer and PlayWay S.A. as the Steam publisher.

At 13:30 UTC on November 5, 2026, the main game’s official metadata still said coming soon. A fresh official Steam check at 14:00 UTC listed the full game as released and returned a purchasable listing. These are timestamped observations; the scheduled date alone was not used as proof. Check the live official store for present availability in your region.

How does the demo’s scope differ?

The official demo description covers the opening tournament stage and first rival Dominus. The main store advertises a 160-day tournament, choosing one of six Domini and facing the others as rivals.

Player discussions often describe a 40-day demo, but the current official description read for this guide uses the opening-stage scope. This page does not turn that player figure into a verified current limit or promise every full-game feature is in the trial.

The latest November 2 update explicitly covers the demo and current pre-release builds, while noting that some systems apply specifically to the full game. See training and skill changes and crowd favor for those dated rules.

Does demo progress transfer?

No explicit official demo-to-full carryover policy was found in the sources collected for this guide. Do not copy, delete or overwrite save files based on an assumption about transfer.

Preserve your current progress and ask through the official discussion area or the support contact on Brain Seal’s website. State both app versions and what you expect to transfer. This remains an unanswered policy question until the developer confirms it.

What input and Steam Deck support is documented?

The current Steam metadata lists full controller support. The October 7 demo patch introduces full gamepad play and native Steam Deck support. Those are support statements, not a benchmark or a promise of a particular frame rate.

Later demo notes document a few specific actions:

Source date Input change
September 17 Keyboard keys 2 and 3 provide additional game-speed controls
October 16 RT in the Ludus also unpauses the game
October 16 Twitch instructions screen added in Options

RT does not establish a way around a pending match. For a fighter stuck in a room, arena readiness gives the documented PC right-click action and its limits. A controller equivalent for that action has not been verified here.

Which PC and console claims can you rely on?

Steam lists Windows, with a 64-bit Windows 10 minimum, Intel Core2 Duo E8400 or AMD Phenom II x2 550, 8 GB RAM, a DirectX 11-compatible GPU and 1 GB available storage. Mac and Linux are not listed as supported PC versions in the metadata read.

The publisher’s October press release announces November 5 for Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. That announcement does not by itself verify every console’s current store availability, patch parity or cross-save support. Check the relevant platform store before purchasing.

Steam and console achievement lists also need separate verification. The official Steam achievement page had no available stats at the time of this research; a third-party Xbox list is not a confirmed Steam dataset.

Where should you begin after choosing a version?

Use the Ludus assistant for room, recovery, training and crowd decisions. Then check difficulty and rewards before planning around a particular match’s income.

Which primary sources define this scope?

Checked November 5, 2026. Current sale availability, save transfer, complete mappings and hardware performance require their own verification.
